First Birthday!

I can't believe a year ago we were in the hospital anxiously waiting Brooklynn's arrival. The strange thing.....right now Amanda and Zach are having their baby. Just to think we were in the exact same position exactly a year ago....weird!

It's been such an amazing year. Seeing Brooklynn's personality develop has been such a joy, and we cherish every moment we have with her. She's such a sweetheart!

Today she had cupcakes with her friends at Lee's house and then some more at home with mom and dad. Talk about a sugar rush (especially since she hasn't had any sugar since she was born). We opened a few gifts before the sugar crash. Saturday is the big shindig.....and more cake!

Playtime!

Yesterday we went to the Weihe's for some playtime! The kiddos had a good time playing, and I think there was even a little romance between Kiley and Owen. Some day I'm sure they'll be fighting for Mr. Owen. How times have changed.....we used to go bar hopping together, now it's play dates! Brook-a-lynn is lucky to have great kids to grow up with!

Valentine's Day!

We enjoyed an uneventful, relaxing Valentine's 3-day weekend. Friday we ate at Maggiano's for some family dining. There was a table next to us that wouldn't pay attention to Brooklynn, so she decided to throw her toys at them. Pretty funny! Saturday we had a romantic meal with the Doogans. On Sunday G & G Wesling came over for dinner and to give Brooklynn her gifts. Brooklynn and her ladybug

Zach's 30th Birthday!

Saturday we went to a casino/murder mystery dinner for Zach's 30th birthday. Lots of fun! Zach and Andrea were great on-stage!

Sunday we went to Adam's to watch the big game. Brooklynn enjoyed playing with the other kiddos and Aimee! She's been teething more lately, which has been tough for her and us. Man love!
