Our Little Ladybug.....

Here's some pics of little Brooklynn in her costume. She's not a fan of the costume, but we enjoyed dressing her up. Poor girl!

Oh the changing leaves....

This weekend we decided to take a drive to the mountains to check out the beautiful fall foliage. We stopped in Golden for lunch downtown and then looped to Blackhawk and Nederland. It was a little chilly but the sites were unbelieveable. Sure makes us appreciate Colorado's beauty.

Look what I can do now!

A big milestone - Brooklynn can sit on her own! Of course there were many face-plants and falls before it was mastered, but she's getting better everyday. So sweet and innocent....
She can pull the dogs' hair and really tick them off!
She can now go to the zoo and actually enjoy the animals (except she was a little scared of the turtle). Good luck getting her to take care of cousins Moses and Odin!

The Ram Fam

Saturday was Brooklynn's first CSU football game. She enjoyed the trombone suicide but crashed shortly after. She slept through the exciting victory, but she was a trooper!

I love spinach!

Eating food is a new adventure everyday! Each day Brooklynn learns something new to do with her food. Last week it was gagging and coughing. This week spitting it all over the place. It's too funny!

Daddy's Birthday

Steve turned the big 2-8 on the 12th! Steve had a work shindig in Vegas, so we thought it'd be a great place to celebrate the birthday. Of course we had to leave Brooklynn at home, and we missed her tremendously. We headed to downtown Vegas Friday evening and then went to Mystere (Cirque du Soleil) on Saturday night. We stayed at the Venetian and ate at some swanky restaurants. We were able to see how wealthy people do Vegas!
On the Venetian balcony
Brooklynn loved the wrapping paper.
Go Rams! Yes that is a half-eaten cake!

Labor Day Weekend Festivities

This weekend we started swim lessons. Daddy swam with Brooklynn, while I was photographing. They sang songs and played with some toys. There's nothing like seeing Steve sing "Motorboat...motorboat". If the guys could see him now! Brooklynn did really well and enjoyed it, even though she was the youngest one by far! Sunday we sported our CSU gear for the big game, although it turned out to be an ugly game! Monday we packed a picnic and headed to the park for some R & R.
