Two Sick Babies!

The past few days have been rough in the Wesling house. Brooklynn got sick from daycare and then, of course, gave it to Chandler. It's so much tougher have two kids and trying to keep them apart is almost impossible, so Chandler getting sick from Brooklynn is inevitable. They both have runny noses and a horrible-sounding cough. Hope they get better soon!

The other day I found Brooklynn passed out at the foot of the stairs... poor girl!

Here she is checking her temp. She knows the drill by now, but of course isn't quite sure where to put the thermometer. She's gotten so accustomed to the routine she now asks for her medicine.

Stock Show Time!

Monday we took the girls to the Stock Show with the Deegans. Brooklynn's favorite part was the petting zoo. We had trouble tearing her away from the animals.

She tried to give the goats the food. Some lady said to me, "She's brave!" as she didn't mind putting her fingers in any animal's mouth!

Welcome Braelynn!

Wes and Jaime welcomed cousin Braelynn on December 31st. We stopped by last week to visit. Braelynn makes Chandler look like a giant.

Chandler has been loving her gym lately. Of course bully Brooklynn has to come over and take over! Here's a few shots of them playing together. Too cute! The best ever! She's getting better at smiling!

Date Night at the Nuggets

Monday night we received free floor tickets to the Nuggets game. Our sweet friend Chris found us on his T.V. with his fancy TiVO and sent us a picture of us on T.V. I guess that's as close as we'll get to being on T.V. (except when I become the next American Idol!)

Stock Show here we come!

This is bound to be the best week of Brooklynn's life - the Stock Show is in town! We had to do the pre-festivities by going to the parade downtown. So we went to grandma's work, and then we all walked down together. Brooklynn's dream of riding a cow came true. I was more scared than her. That is the real thing! She loved it! Grand Marshall Todd Helton - of course he didn't look our way!

Happy New Year!

As we reflect on last year we realize how blessed we are to have two healthy kids! We're excited what 2010 brings along with the terrible 2s but definitely no babies this year!

Steve got a pair of Nuggets tickets for Christmas, so we went on Sunday vs. the 76ers and took Brooklynn. She was quite a ham....big surprise!

The best thing about having 2 girls - dressing them alike. I'm sure they'll appreciate it when I try to do this when they're teenagers.

On Friday we went to the Zoo Lights with Grandma and Grandpa Wesling. It was frigid, so Steve had to bundle Chandler up in his coat. Brooklynn loved the lights!
