A lot of preparation went into this Christmas season - numerous light display tours, Zoo lights, Gingerbread houses, homemade ornaments, matching dresses, yadda yadda yadda. So as the big day approached we were a little exhausted and all of us started coming down with a cold. Uggghhh! The first of our Christmas celebrations was the annual Chrismas Eve at the Weslings. We actually attempted to take the girls to the Christmas Eve service, and they did surprisingly well.
Here's the girls opening their comfy Christmas pajamas (much better to open gifts in). Of course Chandler had a huge blowout during dinner, so the pjs didn't last long!

After a fun night with delicious food and great company we headed home to prepare for the next morning. It was the first year we've had to put everything out after the kids went to bed. We'll only have to get smarter and slyer each year.
